The author collected a vast amount of information the book is very well written and easy to read it catches the redader and presents the hard facts packed in very comprehensive reality based stories it is not merely focused on the disaster that is described in the first third of the pages it presents the moments days and months after from perspective of various stakeholders it presents a good image of the crisis management and truthfullness of the regime the reader is presented with the characteristics of the regime as a reader I was motivated to think about the current crises and how they are handled do we believe that the regimes are direct with us how much propaganda is there as compared to the soviet regime and as presented by the chernobyl example born in 1980s how am I affftected by the accident many people forget when media stop showing This book is one of the examples why we should not for example I will think TWICE about eating wild boar goulash in Czech Republic next time since the book based on sources I double checked as true presents the fact that until this day half of the wild boars in this land are too contaminated long lasting conseuences are in our daily lives and show how short sided we sometimes are THANK YOU FOR THIS MARVELOUS JOURNEY
